Teachers of TN: Kelly Robinson

“Through my job, I get to see the influence I can have on the lives of my students. I watch kids become more interested in the world around them and begin to take notice of [new] ideas. Many of my students go on to travel abroad or do a semester study abroad in Spain or some other Spanish-speaking region, and they frequently contact me to ask my opinion or advice, or sometimes just to tell me of their decisions and their experiences. A dedicated traveler myself, I find these situations probably the most rewarding of all for me in my career. I am so grateful that I have an opportunity to help shape the thoughts of the students in my classroom, and that I can watch them become involved citizens who are globally aware, concerned, and compassionate beings.”
