After reading nearly 3,000 submissions, we are thrilled to announce the three winners of our statewide “Why I’m Thankful for my Teacher” essay contest. Representatives from the department surprised the elementary, middle, and high school winners in three separate ceremonies across the state on Wednesday, also honoring the teachers featured in the winning stories.
